As per instructions of Govt. of Assam vide No. HMA.879/2016/64 dated 30-01-2020 and in compliance to Govt. of Assam O.M. No.ABP.07/2019/4 dated 10-04-2019, 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will be applicable against 1168 posts of Constables for those candidates who applied during the period w.e.f. 23-12-2019 to 06-01-2020 against the Notice / Addendum issued on 19-12-2019 vide No. SLPRB/ Rec/Const/ (AB &UB)/2018/215 dated 19-12-2019 and who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.
Candidates can avail the benefit of reservation under EWS by uploading an income and asset certificate issued by the Circle Officer or Circle Officer (A) of the revenue Circle where the candidate and/or his family normally resides through our website w.e.f. 10-02-2020 to 29-02-2020.
The income and asset certificate issued by above mentioned authorities in prescribed format as Annexure-I, available in SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in will only be accepted as proof of candidate’s claim as belonging to EWS.
