According to the Tezpur University Recruitment 2017 notification , Online Applications  are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the  posts of  Internal Audit Officer , Medical Officer, Assistant Director of Physical Education, Junior Programmer (Computer Centre), Senior Technical Assistant (Computer Centre), Technical Assistant (ECE Department),  Junior Accountants, Library Assistant (Central Library),Laboratory Assistant (CSE Department) and Lower Division Clerks (Administration).


Tezpur University Recruitment 2017 –  Details :

Following are the details of all posts under  Tezpur University Recruitment 2017  with number of vacancies,  posts details ,Age limit , Educational Qualification , Experience and Payband etc.

1/Name of the Post: Internal Audit Officer (Deputation)
No of Posts/Vacancy: 01
Pay Scale: PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus
Grade Pay: Rs. 7,600
Educational Qualification : 
Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or with five (05) years’ regular service
in the scale of pay of Rs. 10,000-325-15,200 (pre-revised) /Rs. 15,600-39, 100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600 from the Central or State Govt., Universities and other autonomous organizations.

2/Name of the Post: Medical Officer
No of Posts/Vacancy: 01
Pay Scale: PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus
Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400
Educational Qualification :
Essential:

MBBS degree from any Indian university recognised by Medical Council of India.
Desirable: M. D. in Medicine. Preference will be given to persons working in reputed hospital/Nursing Home with at least two years experience.

 

3/Name of the Post: Assistant Director of Physical Education

Pay Scale: PB-3: Rs. 15,600-39,100 plus
Academic Grade Pay: Rs.6,000
Educational Qualification :
1)A Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record.

2) Record of having represented the university / college at the inter-university /intercollegiate competitions or the State and/ or national championships.
3) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
4) Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2010 on Minimum Qualifications for Appointments of Techers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges.
5) However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph. D. degree in accordance with the “University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical Education.

Desirable: Candidates with experience in repair and maintenance of equipment related departmental laboratory / workshop in relevant area will be referred.

Essential:

Desirable: Candidates with experience in handling maintenance f configuration of computer and network equipment, installation of software related to the departmental laboratory will be referred.

Educational Qualification :
(i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on manual typewriter.
Or
A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. [35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.rn. correspond to 10500 and 9000 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) respectively on an average of 5 key depression for each word].

Eligible and  Interested candidates may apply Online through the website www.tezu.ernet.in  and the duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) submitted through ONLINE portal must reach “The Registrar, Tezpur University, Tezpur-784 028” on or before 27/11/2017 along with all necessary enclosures including the Demand Draft in original/proof of online submission of application fee and “No Objection Certificate (NOC)”, wherever applicable. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed “Application for the post of … (name of the post)”.

Application Fee:
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (Exempted for SC/ST/PWD categories) in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of The Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur (Tezpur University Branch in case of State Bank of India), must be submitted along with the application. The Demand Draft should not have been drawn before the date of issue of this advertisement. Candidates shall write their names and the post applied for on the reverse of the Bank Draft. Application fee can also be paid through on line bank transfer, for which details are provided in the Online Recruitment Portal. In such a case, the applicant shall have to furnish the proof of the same along with the hard copy of the application.

Important Terms for Tezpur University [TU] Recruitment 2017

1/Candidate(s) willing to apply for more than one post shall submit separate applications and fees.

2/Application(s) received after the last date or incomplete in any form or without the application fee shall be summarily rejected. Those in employment must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer. However, one may send a copy of the application as “ADVANCE COPY” within the closing date. In such a case, the original application forwarded by the employer and / or the “NOC” should reach the undersigned within ten (10) days from the last date of submission of applications.
