Educational Qualification – Higher Secondary 10+2 in science with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized Board/University/ institute.
Computers skills – Candidates must be well-versed with computer operation and application.

Domicile – Candidate should be a domicile of Assam
Age Limit – Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years as on 30-09-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:
A) 5 years for SC/ST candidates

B) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates

Duty station –
The selected laboratory Assistant (s) will be stationed at the different DLL and SDLL of PHED, Assam located at the different districts and sub division of Assam. (Annexure-A attached)

Remuneration – The proposed remuneration for the Laboratory Assistant will be Rs. 15,000.00 (Rupees fifteen thousand only) per Month (Inclusive of all incentives & perks). Remuneration will likely be revised as per JJM, Assam norms.

Methodology for Selection –

Due to current situation with reference to the Pandemic COVID 19, a contact-less recruitment process purely based on academic performance from class X and HS, quality/relevance of work experience, performance in online Personal Interaction (PI) will be followed. The  weightage of marks for shortlisting of candidates will be as:

Class X : 20%
HS : 50%
Marks in Chemistry in HS Final Year: 20%10% weightage to candidates who have experience of more than six months in working in laboratories for drinking water testing and water purification.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for PI through online mode.
