Educational Qualification – 
i) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
ii)  Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Agril. Structure & Process Engineering (AS&PE) / Post Harvest Engineering & Tech./Process & Food Engineering from an Indian or foreign university.

Pay Details –  Rs. 15,600/-…. Rs. 39,100/- + A.G.P. Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)

2/Name Of The Post – Junior Scientist
No of posts: 1 (One)
Educational Qualification – 
i) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering / Mech. Engg.

i)  Passed Bachelor’s of Science Degree in any discipline of science.
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in disciplines of Food Science & Tech / Food Engineering & Tech. / Process & Food Engineering / Dairy & Food Engineering / Food Technology from an Indian or foreign university.

Pay Details – Rs. 15,600/-….Rs. 39,100/- + A.G.P. Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)

4/Name Of The Post – Agril. Biochemist
No of posts – 1 (One)
Educational Qualification – 
i) Passed Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agriculture.
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s degree level in the discipline of Bio-Chemistry and Agril. Chemistry from an Indian or a foreign university.

Pay Details –  Rs. 15,600/-….Rs. 39,100/- + A.G.P. Rs. 6,000/- (Pre-revised)

Age Limit – Age as on 01.01.2020: 38 (thirty eight) years (maximum) The age is relaxable by the number of full years of service rendered in AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAUs and other Govt. Institutions up to a maximum of 5(five) years as supported by the relevant documents.

 

 Fee Details –  Application fee is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c No. 33019714091). For payment, a challan copy may be downloaded from the University website and fee-paid Challan copy is to be enclosed along with the application form. The prescribed fee is Rs. 300/- in case of general candidates sand Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates.

How to Apply for Assam Agricultural University Recruitment 2020 (May)

Application form in prescribed format is to be submitted to the Registrar, AAU, Jorhat on or before March 25 / 2020 May 20 2020.

A self addressed stamped (worth Rs.6/- envelope size 23 cm x 10 cm should be sent along with the application form.

* Candidates from the State of Assam should only apply. They need to be the permanent resident of Assam.
