Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2020 (June) – Intelligence Bureau, Govt. of India  has published a recruitment notification in 2020(May).It is proposed to fill up vacancies in the following ranks in the Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs on absorption/deputation (including short term contract basis) as mentioned below. Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2020 (June) Post Details

1/Name Of The Post – Deputy Director/ Tech

No of posts –  2
Eligibility Criteria –
Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognized Research Institutions or Universities or Semi Government Organizations or Autonomous bodies or Statutory Organizations:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department. or

(ii) with 2 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level 13 in the Pay Matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre/department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualification, namely: –
(i) Bachelor Degree in Engineering [B.E or B.Tech or B.Sc(Engg)] in the fields of Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunications; or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (AMIE).
(ii) twelve years’ experience in research and development or manufacture or application in the area of telecommunication equipment or computer or telecommunication network or signal monitoring or Communication lntelligence (COMINT) or Technical intelligence (TECHINT) or Information Technology (IT). 2/Name Of The Post – Senior Research Officer

No of posts – 2
Eligibility Criteria –

Officers under the Central/State Governments/Union Territories/Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory/Semi Government or Autonomous Organizations

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) with five years’ regular service in posts in the Pay Band 3. ₹15600-39100 plus grade pay of ₹5400 or equivalent; or (iii) with seven years’ regular service in posts in the Pay Band 2. ₹9300-34800 plus grade pay of ₹4600 or equivalent; and (b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as follows: (i) Master’s degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Business Administration/ Management or Commerce from a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Five years’ experience in Macro-Economic Analysis/Research work and preparation of report on contemporary economic issues and future economic trends.

3/Name Of The Post – Library & Information Officer

Eligibility Criteria –

Officers of the Central Govt. or State Governments or Union territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government, Autonomous or Statutory Organizations:
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in pay band-3. ₹15600-39100 plus Grade pay of ₹5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or

Officers under the Central Government: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) with three years’ regular service in posts in the Pay Band-2: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- or equivalent; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications Engineering or M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry
(ii) 3 years (5 years in the case of diploma holders for B.Sc.) practical/field experience in detection and disposal of explosive devices.

6/Name Of The Post – Assistant Central intelligence Officer-I/ Executive

Eligibility Criteria –

Officers under the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-7 (₹44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent; and
(ii) 2 years’ experience in security or intelligence work.

7/Name Of The Post – Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-II/ Executive

Eligibility Criteria –

Officers under the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defence Forces:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-6 (₹35,400-1,12,400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:
(i) Graduation from a recognized university or equivalent; and
(ii) 2 years’ experience in security or intelligence work.

8/Name Of The Post – Assistant Security Officer (Technical)

Eligibility Criteria –

a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
(ii) with five years’ regular service in posts in the Pay Band-2: ₹9300-34800 with Grade Pay of ₹4200 or equivalent.; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications Engineering or BSc in Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

(ii) with six years’ regular service in posts in the Pay Band-1 of ₹5200-20200 with Grade pay ₹2800 or equivalent; and
(b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience as follows:
Essential: (i) Master’s degree in Economics/ Statistics/Business Administration/ Management or Commerce or equivalent.
(ii) Two years’ experience in Economic Investigation/ Research work in a recognized Institution/ Government or Semi-Government organization in data collection both primary and secondary, survey work, tabulation and interpretation work.

12/Name Of The Post –  Accountant

No of posts – 24
Eligibility Criteria –

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
(ii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of ₹2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department: or
(iii) with ten years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of ₹2400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing any one of the following qualifications: –
(i) A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by the organized Accounts department of the Central Government.
(ii) Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and three years’ experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

13/Name Of The Post – Female Staff Nurse

Eligibility Criteria –

(i) Female Staff Nurse in identical/ equivalent scale of pay from Military /Civil Hospitals of the Central or State Governments.

14/Name Of The Post – Caretaker

Eligibility Criteria –

(i) Any Group C employee of Intelligence Bureau with five years’ regular service in level 4 (₹25500-81100) in the pay matrix; or
(ii) Employees of Central Government or the State Governments or Union territories holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

15/Name Of The Post – Junior Intelligence Officer-I/ Executive

No of posts – 26
Eligibility Criteria –

Officers of the Central Police Organizations or State Police Organizations or Defense forces:-
(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Band-1, ₹5200-20,200 plus Grade pay ₹2400 (level 4 of the new pay matrix) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

16/Name Of The Post –  Junior Intelligence Officer-I (Motor Transport)

No of posts – 12
Eligibility Criteria –

Officers of the Central/ State Government/ Central Police Organizations –
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
(ii) with five years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of ₹5200-20200 with grade pay of ₹2400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
(b) Possessing valid heavy/ commercial driving license issued by the competent authority.

17/Name Of The Post – Junior Intelligence Officer-Grade-II (Motor Transport)

No of posts – 12
Eligibility Criteria –

Officer of the Central/State Government/Central Police Organisations-
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
(ii) with five years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of ₹5200-20200 with grade pay of ₹2000 or equivalent in the parent cadre /department.
For Ex-servicemen: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve with in a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualification prescribed as under shall also be considered.
(i) 12th Standard pass or equivalent.
(ii) Possession of valid driving license for motor cars.
(iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism.

18/Name Of The Post – Security Assistant (Motor Transport)

No of posts – 15
Eligibility Criteria –

(a) Officers of the Central or State Government holding analogous post on regular basis; or
(b) Employees of Intelligence Bureau;
(i) holding analogous posts; or
(ii) with 3 years regular service in Pay band-1, Grade Pay of ₹1900; or
(iii) with 6 years regular service in Pay band-1, Grade Pay of ₹ 1800; and
(c) Possessing the following qualification:
Essential:
(i) Matriculation or equivalent
(ii) Possession of valid driving license for motor cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority,
(iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle);

19/Name Of The Post – Halwai Cum Cook

Eligibility Criteria –

Officers of the Central Government-
(a) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department; or

20/Name Of The Post – Multi Tasking staff (Gunman)

Eligibility Criteria –
Absorption from the Group ‘C’ employees in the Intelligence Bureau by selection to be made on the basis of test in rifle or pistol shooting.

How to Apply for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2020 (June)

Officers who fulfill the above mentioned conditions of eligibility may submit their applications to their employers, who may forward the same along with the following papers/documents so as to reach the Joint Deputy Director/G, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S.P. Marg, Bapu Cham, New Delhi-21 within 60 days from the date of issuance of this circular.

(i) Bio-data in the prescribed pro-forma (as per Annexure-A) in duplicate duly signed by the candidate and forwarded through proper channel (each page attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary)
(ii) Copies of APAR/ACRs for the last 5 years attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary
(iii) Vigilance Clearance Certificate
(iv) Integrity certificate
(v) A statement of Major/minor penalty, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years
(vi) Cadre Clearance Certificate.
