Name of the post: Inspector of Drugs
No of posts: 12 (Twelve) nos.
Salary: Pay Band-3, Rs. 22000/- to 87000/- Grade Pay- Rs. 11500/-
Age Limit: A candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 43 years as on 01/01/2018 as per Personnel (B) Department’s Office Memorandum No. ABP.06/2016/04 Dated 03/03/2016 with corrigendum No. ABP/06/2016/07 Dated 26/09/2016.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceuticals Sciences, or Medicine with specialization in clinical Pharmacology or, Microbiology from a University established in India by law.
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having uniformly good academic qualification and experience in handling legal matters.
Condition: A candidate shall be of sound health, both mentally and physically and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity likely to hamper the efficient performance of his/her field duties in different difficult terrains like hills, dense forest and river bed etc. The candidates shall undergo medical examination before the appointment to the service.
Application fee:
a) Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidate.
b) Candidate having BPL certificate: Nil. Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “2210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”.

Applications (including applications received through post) received after the last date fixed for receipt shall not be entertained.
