N F Railway Recruitment 2020 (mar) – Northeast Frontier Railway has published a recruitment notification in 2020( Mar).In view of the exigencies related with the COVID-19 global pandemic and in view of making adequate preparedness for the said pandemic, it has been decided to engage retired doctors below 65 years of age as “Contract Medical Practitioners (CMP)” on temporary basis for a period of one month, from the date of such engagement, in Guwahati area under Central Hospital/Maligaon, Northeast Frontier Railway from willing, eligible doctors, which can be extended purely on administrative requirement and willingness of concerned CMP, or till the scheme is available, whichever is earlier. A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted to adjudge the suitability of the willing doctors, the date/time/venue of which are provided below. The details of the scheme are given below.

Name of The post – Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP)
No of posts – 8

Educational Qualification – The candidate should be minimum MBBS from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India and with registration in Medical Council of India, or with a valid registration certificate of any of the State Medical Councils of India.
Age Limit – Not exceeding 65 years of age as on 01.03.2020.

Remuneration –

1. Monthly remuneration is ₹ 75,000/- (including HRA & Transport Allowance) for Full Time General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO).
2. For retired Railway Doctor, retired Government Medical Doctors of State Governments and Central Government, the monthly remuneration, as decided by Railway Board, is subject to the condition that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the Retired Doctors should not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Dearness and any other allowances which are admissible to regular Railway Servants shall be admissible.
3. In case a railway accommodation is provided to the CMP, an amount equivalent to sum of HRA and license fee of the accommodation so provided shall be deducted from the monthly remuneration.
