APSC Recruitment 2020 (mar) Post Details
Name Of The Post – Director, Directorate of Archives, Assam under Secretariat Administration (Estt.) Department.
No Of posts – 01
Educational Qualification –
a) At least Second class M.A in Modern Indian History and having one year diploma in Archival Science from National Archives of India, New Delhi.
b) Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D in History.
Experience – a) At least 6 years experience in the rank of Archivist or in similar higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution.
b) Preference will be given to the departmental candidates who have 8 years experiences in Archival management in any Govt. Archival Organization.
c) Experience in Archival Planning/Schemes.
Age Limit – The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable –
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015.
Pay Details – Rs.30,000/- to Rs.1,10,000/- p.m. plus Grade Pay of Rs.15,100/- p.m.
