No of posts – 1 [SC], Department of Physics

Essential Qualification – Higher Secondary Passed in Science Stream.
Desirable Qualification –
(i) Work experience in any College or University Laboratory as an Assistant.
(ii) Adequate knowledge of scientific instruments in the Laboratory and their Maintenance.

Pay Details – Consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 10,810/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Eight Hundred Ten) only

2/Name Of the Post – Laboratory Assistant

No of posts – 1  [UR], Department of Applied Geology

Essential Qualification – B.Sc. with Geology Major
Desirable Qualification –
A) Ability to handle the microscopes and other laboratory equipment that is used in Geological Sciences.
B) Knowledge of computer applications

Pay Details – Consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 14,210/- (Rupees Fourteen Thousand Two Hundred Ten only)

Eligibility Criteria –
i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must produce a valid proof of residency issued by the competent authority along with the application form.
ii) Age relaxation as per latest Assam Govt. rules .
