1/Name of the post : Forme Carrier
No. of posts/vacancies: 17  (UR- 9, STP-2, STH-2, SC-1, OBC/MOBC-3)
Salary: PB- 2 Rs.  14,000/- 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.  5,600/-
Qualification:
i)Candidates must have Passed Passed HSLC  or equivalent Exam  from Govt.  recognised Board/ Institution.
ii)Applicants must  have completed course in Letter Press Machine Operator from I.T.I. and passed All India Trade Test conducted by the Government of India after completion of Prescribed Apprenticeship Training in the Assam Government Press or any other Government Recognized Press.
Reservation criteria : Hearing impaired/visually handicapped (Low Vision)

2/ Name of the post : Counter
No. of posts/vacancies: 19  (UR- 10, STP-2, STH-1, SC-1, OBC/MOBC-5)

Salary: PB- 2 Rs.  14,000/- 49,000/- + Grade Pay Rs.  5,600/-
Educational Qualification:
i)Applicants must have Passed HSLC  or equivalent Exam  from Govt.  recognised Board/ Institution

ii)Candidates must have Passed  All  India Trade Test Certificate Course  in Book Binding Trade  from ITI with  2  years Apprenticeship Training  in any Govt.  recognised Press  or Assam Govt.  Press.

Interested and eligible Candidates may send the application form along with all certificates in support of educational qualification, two copies of recent passport photographs and a self addressed envelope of size 22cm x 10cm affixing postal stamp of Rs.5.00/- superscribing “Post Applied for” at the top of the envelope before 15th November 2017. Application completed in all respect should reach the DIRECTORATE OF PRINTING & STATIONERY, ASSAM, GUWAHATI-21 on or before 15 days from the date of publication of the Advertisement. (c) A self addressed envelope size ( 22 cm X 10 cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5.00 only. Important Terms for Director of Printing and Stationery Assam Recruitment 2017

1 / Candidates / Applicants must be citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the constitution of India.
2/ Candidates / Applicants should not be less than 18 (eighteen) years and not more than 43(forty three) years of age as on 01.01.2017. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
3/ Employment Registration No. is mandatory and candidates/ applicants must mention the Registration No. along with date in their applications.
4/ Candidates serving in Govt. should submit their applications through proper channel as per Govt. norms.
5/ Certificate of Disability must be signed by the concerned Competent Authority.
6/ Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification and the authority may take any action deem fit in this respect.
