This is the excerpt of Official Notice for award of Pre-Matric scholarship to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes Community reading in Class I to VIII.
How to Apply Scheduled Caste Scholarship Class 1-8 Assam 2018
Fresh application are invited from Scheduled Caste students studying from Class-I to VIII in Government recognized Educational Institutions of Assam for the year 2018- 19.The scholarship application form can be obtained by the respective Educational Institutions from the concerned Sub- Divisional Welfare Offices free of cost. The Annual income of Parents/Guardians should not exceed Rs.1.00 lakhs per annum from all sources.
The students shall submit photocopy of front page of their Bank Pass Book along with the application forms to the Head of Institution. The Head of Institution must prepare a detail list of the students and send it to the Concerned Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer, along with the application forms. The Sub-Divisional Welfare Officers will scrutinize the filled up application forms and carefully examine the Annual income & bank details. After scrutinizing all the details, the Sub- Divisional Welfare Officer will prepare a list of students including bank details and send it along with statements of the institution to the undersigned by 15th/ Nov/2018.
