a) 18 to 25 years for Post 1, 2

b) 18 to 23 years for Post 3 to 7, 9, 10 to 14, 16, 18, 19 to 26

c) 20 to 28 years for Post 8

d) 20 to 25 years for Post 15

e) 21 to 23 years for Post 17

Application Fee for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2017:

Candidates have to pay

Rs. 200/- for Post 1 to 4,
Rs. 100/- for Post 5 to 30

Candidates who are applying in ONLINE mode are required to pay through online system for which fee will be deposit into SBI Current Account No 37088046712 in favour of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10

Candidates who are applying in OFFLINE mode should pay offline system through challan (format att) into Power Jyoti Account No 37139880824 in favour of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10.

No fee for SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman & Female candidates.

How to apply For Assam Rifles Recruitment 2017-2018 Technical & Tradesmen Posts :

Eligible male & female candidates can apply online/ offline on or before 20/12/2017 & attend for recruitment rally from 05/01/2018 onwards.

(a) Online Mode [apply for Assam rifles 2017-18]

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.assamrifles.gov.in on or before 20-12-2017.

The candidates will have to fill the requisite details as prescribed in the application form. After the application has been filled up, the candidate has the option to make the online payment via the link given for online payment or alternatively, the payment can be made at SBI Bank Counters as well. In both options, the candidate will have to upload the copy of the challan or receipt online. Candidates while reporting for Physical Standard Test (PST) and Field Trials will produce the original copy of payment receipt/challan for record of this office. In case of non-submission of receipt/challan, the application may be rejected. The candidates will also produce the printed copy of online Application Form duly completed and printed copy of Calling Letter downloaded from the website, failing which the candidature of the applicants may be rejected. The online applications portal will be functioning from the day of publications of the advertisement to the last date of receipt of the applications.

(b) Offline Mode (Through Post) [apply for Assam rifles 2017-18]

Eligible candidates may send their application along with self attested copies of relevant certificates mentioned in the notification through registered post to the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Recruitment Branch, Laitkor, Shillong, Meghalaya-793010.

This option is applicable only to the candidates belonging from far-flung & border areas of States of North Eastern Region (NER) of the country. Ladakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. A&N Island and Lakshadweep However online applications will also be accepted from the aforesaid regions Offline application other than these regions will not be entertained. The format for submission of offline applications is attached at Appendix C The Application along with self-attested copies of Educational Certificate, Domicile Certificate. Caste Certificate Diploma Technical ITI Certificate of the Trade in accordance with Qualitative Requirement and payment challan/receipt to be dispatched to the undermentioned address through a registered post.

Selection Process for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2017-18:

Candidates will be selected based on documentation, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test, Trade Test (Skill Test), Medical Examination, Merit List.
