Qualification :

Essential: 
a) Must be a graduate from a Govt. Recognized University with at least 50% marks in Assamese as a major subject as well as English as one of the elective subjects in pass course.
b) Must be capable of translation any matter from Assamese to English and English to Assamese and good command over Assamese and English Language. 

Post Qualification Work Experience :

Desirable:
a) Post qualification experience in Assamese to English and vice versa translation jobs.
b) Certificate or Diploma in Assamese Translator Course from a recognised institute.
c) Working experience in computers and conversant with bilingual processing (i.e., Assamese & English Typing)

Desirable: Working Experience in Computer. years of working experience in Drilling/Workover fluids  as on 27/09/2017

Mode of Selection  for Junior Asst. & Senior Asst. Posts: Oil India Limited Recruitment 2017 [Duliajan, Assam] 

Only those Candidates who  fulfill the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for Written Test.(a) Only those candidates. who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification as on 30/10/2017 wail be called for Written Test (Stage-D.

WRITTEN TEST Syllabus for Junior Asst. & Senior Asst. Posts: Oil India Limited Recruitment 2017:

The question paper for Written Tat (Stage-I) will consist of 3 (three) sections viz (A) English Language & General Knowledge/Awareness with some questions on Oct India Limited; (B) Reasoning, Arithmetic /Numerical & Mental Ability and (C) Relevant Technical Knowledge in the course curriculum depending on the post.

(a) FOR POST of Junior Assistant-I : Those who obtain minimum 50% (fifty percent) marks in the Written Test (Stage-4) will qualify for Computer Operation Skill Test. (Stage-II). Computer Operation Skill Test (Stage-1) will be of qualifying nature where the qualifying marks is minimum 50% (fifty percent). Computer, Operation Skill Test (Stage-II) does not carry any weightage in the final selector Only those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks of minimum 50% (fifty percent) in the Computer Operation Skill Test (Stage-II) will be considered in the merit list for final selection. Other candidate(s) who do not secure the qualifying marks of minimum 50% (fifty percent) in Computer Operation Skill Test (Stage-II) will not be considered for, final selection. Final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test (Stage-1) only.

(b) FOR POST of Senior Assistant-I: Those who obtain minimum 50% (fifty percent) marks in the Written Test (Stage-I) will qualify for Translation Test. Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-II). The Translation Test Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-II) includes 2 parts, (1) Translation Test and (2) Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test. The candidate(s) have to individually obtain minimum 50% (fifty percent) marks in each part to clear in the Translation Test, Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-ID. The Translation Test. Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-t1) will be of a qualifying nature and aces not carry any weightage in the final selection. Only those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks of minimum 50% (fifty percent) in the Translation Test. Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-II) will be considered in the merit list for final selection. Other candidate(s) who do not secure the qualifying marks of minimum 50% (fifty percent) in the Translation Test Computer Application & Bilingual Typing Test (Stage-II will not be considered for final selection. Final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test (Stage-I) only
(c) Further, in case of a tie in marks obtained in the Written Test (Stage-I) between/among two or more candidates, the existing policy of the Company will be applicable.
